Deck overview

This mono-green typal deck leverages the tribal synergy of Bears under the leadership of Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan focuses on rapid deployment: accelerating through green ramp spells, curving out efficient two-mana Bears, and casting the commander on Turn 4. Once Beorn arrives, combat triggers grant trample counters, provide a +2/+2 static anthem to all other Bears, and draw two fresh cards every turn cycle. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by stacking +1/+1 counters and resolving powerful combat multipliers like Unnatural Growth or Return of the Wildspeaker. While the deck possesses strong card draw and board presence, its interactive suite is light, relying on narrow fight effects and artifact removal. It relies on protective instants like Heroic Intervention to survive board wipes while trampling over opposing blockers to close out the game in consecutive combat steps.
