Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Voltron list commanded by Fire Lord Azula. The strategy revolves around deploying Azula and attacking to trigger both Firebending 2 and her unique ability to copy every spell cast while she is attacking. During combat, the deck casts low-cost combat tricks, power doublers, and burn spells, copying them to turn Azula into a lethal attacker capable of eliminating opponents in single combat steps. Secondary creatures like Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist provide mana and card velocity from each cast and copy, while alternate beaters like Ozai, the Phoenix King offer resilience if Azula is removed. The deck features functional creature removal and targeted redirection, but lacks hard stax, artifact and enchantment removal, and fast combo finishes. Its primary path to victory is sequential lethal combat pressure backed by direct burn.
