Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black aristocrats and stax engine helmed by Super Shredder. While the commander grows rapidly whenever permanents leave the battlefield, the deck's primary win condition revolves around infinite sacrifice loops utilizing Gravecrawler or Forsaken Miner paired with sacrifice outlets like Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader and blood artist drain effects like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion of Remembrance. Supported by premium black tutors, card advantage engines like Necropotence, Skullclamp, and The One Ring, the deck consistently threatens game-ending loops on Turn 4. Alternatively, it can deploy oppressive soft locks as early as Turn 3 using Contamination alongside token generators like Bitterblossom or Ophiomancer to deny colored mana to nonblack opponents. Redundant recursion pieces like Yawgmoth's Will and Victimize ensure rapid recovery against removal, making the strategy lethal and resilient across competitive pods.
