Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color engine built around Ramos, Dragon Engine. The game plan revolves around rapidly establishing a colored mana base with efficient dorks and fetch-shock lands to cast Ramos ahead of curve on Turn 4. On Turn 5, casting multicolor spells and utilizing counter doublers such as Branching Evolution or Corpsejack Menace quickly loads 5 +1/+1 counters onto Ramos. Removing these counters produces an explosive burst of 10 mana ({W}{W}{U}{U}{B}{B}{R}{R}{G}{G}), which fuels game-ending Dragon bombs like Tiamat, The Ur-Dragon, and Atarka, World Render, or an Aggravated Assault extra-combat chain. Supported by an extensive suite of low-cost modal protection charms and flexible spot removal, the deck transitions smoothly from explosive mana generation to decisive aerial combat, finishing opponents by Turn 7.
