Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Boros graveyard-midrange strategy led by Quintorius, History Chaser. It focuses on extracting maximum resource velocity whenever cards leave the graveyard, translating self-mill, rummaging, and recursion into an army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. The early game establishes reliable artifact ramp and loot engines like Faithless Looting and Currency Converter. Once the commander lands on Turn 4, it leverages its loyalty abilities to filter cards and fuel continuous token generation alongside recurring threats like Squee, Goblin Nabob and Sevinne's Reclamation. Midgame transitions into recursive value through Sun Titan, Hofri Ghostforge, and Excava, the Risen Past. The deck closes games via overwhelming combat steps amplified by Quintorius, History Chaser's -4 double-strike ultimate, Balefire Liege, or Moonshaker Cavalry. While resilient against attrition, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and fast noncreature combo decks due to minimal stack interaction.
