Deck overview

This Simic deck harnesses Omega, Heartless Evolution as both a high-impact board lockdown piece and an overwhelming life engine. By leveraging a nonbasic-heavy land base alongside land-drop accelerators like Nature's Lore, Exploration, and Spelunking, the deck races to seven mana. Once Omega enters, its Wave Cannon ability places massive stacks of stun counters on the most dangerous opposing nonland permanents while padding the pilot's life total. Continuous flicker engines such as Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Deadeye Navigator repeatedly trigger Omega, freezing opposing boards across consecutive turns. Proliferate support from Evolution Sage and Inexorable Tide ensures those stun counters never decay. Card advantage engines like Generous Patron and Candlekeep Sage draw cards off every blink, swiftly digging into decisive finishers such as Craterhoof Behemoth or Aetherflux Reservoir to close out the game against a completely incapacitated table.
