Deck overview

This Mardu aggressive deck is helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One, focusing on doubling attacking-triggered abilities to generate massive creature token swarms, explosive burst mana, and lethal combat damage. Supported by efficient 0–2 CMC mana ramp, the deck reliably deploys Isshin on Turn 3 and an attack-trigger engine such as Adeline, Resplendent Cathar or Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon on Turn 4. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5 as doubled token production converges with high-impact damage multipliers, including Shared Animosity, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Devilish Valet, or extra combat engines like Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Breath of Fury. The deck protects its vulnerable combat setup with an exceptional suite of low-cost and free defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver, Deflecting Swat, Clever Concealment, and Teferi's Protection. While lacking blue stack countermagic, its immense redundancy, rapid recovery, and overwhelming damage output enable consistent Turn 6 table finishes.
