Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu combat build led by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The strategy focuses on curving low-cost utility and mana rocks into Isshin on Turn 3, followed by high-yield attack-trigger token generators such as Hero of Bladehold, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. Isshin doubles every attack trigger, causing token creation, mana generation, and damage triggers to scale exponentially. Payoffs like Hellrider, Mishra, Claimed by Gix, and Warleader's Call translate wide attack steps into massive direct damage, bypassing traditional blockers. Utility pieces such as Reconnaissance protect attackers in combat, while Flawless Maneuver and Grand Abolisher safeguard key setup windows from opposing removal. With high functional redundancy among its creature suite, the deck consistently establishes a lethal board state on Turn 5 and closes the game across all opponents on Turn 6.
