Deck overview

This deck leverages Toph, the First Metalbender to turn nontoken artifacts into lands while repeatedly animating them with earthbend 2. By combining modular artifact creatures, +1/+1 counter doublers, and earthbend payoffs, the deck builds a wide, aggressive board of combat-ready land creatures. Earthbend's built-in recursion returns lands to the battlefield tapped whenever they die or face exile, making the army unusually resistant to standard removal and sweepers. Supported by acceleration like Sol Ring and Karn, Legacy Reforged, the deck assembles its core engine by Turn 4. On Turn 5, heavy hitters such as Toph, Greatest Earthbender and Bumi, Unleashed provide double strike and extra combat phases, converting accumulated +1/+1 counters into lethal table pressure by Turn 7. Protective pieces like Bronze Guardian, Terra Eternal, and Darksteel Forge safeguard your board against interaction while Walking Ballista provides reach to close out games.
