Group Hug Main by Fitz825

Format: Commander

Commander: Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a four-color group-hug and landfall strategy helmed by Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. The primary game plan is to accelerate mana through land ramp and rocks, draw extra cards via symmetrical and repeatable effects, and leverage landfall triggers to generate overwhelming token boards. The deck wins either by casting Approach of the Second Sun twice (relying on deep draw to find it again) or by overrunning opponents with token armies from Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, and Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The commander provides consistent card advantage and land drops for the table, while pillow-fort pieces (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Sphere of Safety) and goad effects (Disrupt Decorum) keep the deck alive until its engines outpace opponents. ---
