Deck overview

This deck is a Boros midrange token and reanimator strategy helmed by Quintorius, History Chaser. The game plan revolves around exploiting the 'leaves graveyard' mechanic to churn out an army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens while generating steady card advantage through the commander's loyalty abilities. By discarding cards to draw and utilizing enablers like Containment Construct, Conspiracy Theorist, and Squee, Goblin Nabob, the deck repeatedly exiles cards from the graveyard to trigger Quintorius. Reanimation engines like Sun Titan, Excava, the Risen Past, and Sevinne's Reclamation provide grinding resilience, repeatedly returning low-cost permanents to trigger token generation. The win condition is combat-focused, turning large Spirit boards into lethal threats via Quintorius's -4 double strike ability or a resolving Moonshaker Cavalry. While resilient against grindy attrition, the deck is vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and fast combo strategies due to limited stack interaction.
