Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen and focuses on Dragon tribal midrange beatdown. The deck utilizes an efficient suite of artifact ramp and creature cost-reducers to deploy its commander on Turn 5, followed by heavy aerial threats that trigger Lathliss to create an army of 5/5 flying Dragon tokens. Synergy pieces like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus convert creature deployment into immediate direct burn and lethal combat bursts. While the deck boasts immense board presence and high redundancy among its beaters, it relies almost entirely on untapping with large permanents, making it susceptible to mass removal and stack-based combo strategies. The deck plays fairly and directly, relying on overwhelming flying damage and asymmetric burn to close out games by Turn 8.
