Deck overview

Hashaton, Scarab's Fist is a discard-matters reanimator deck that converts cheap looting and rummaging effects into 4/4 Zombie copies of expensive creatures. The primary plan is to discard high-value creatures early, then use Hashaton's activated ability to create tapped 4/4 copies that generate card advantage, board control, and eventually overwhelming token armies. Secondary paths include traditional reanimation via Animate Dead and Grave Researcher // Reanimate, plus token multiplication with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, and Ojer Taq. The commander is the central engine, but the deck also functions through looting creatures, reanimation spells, and token payoffs even if Hashaton is removed. The hidden commander is The Scarab God, which provides a repeatable source of 4/4 Zombie tokens and a drain effect.
