Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger and Voltron strategy led by Saruman, the White Hand. The primary objective is to cast Saruman on curve, then chain noncreature spells to rapidly build a massive Orc Army token. The commander provides built-in ward {2} to protect the growing threat. Once the Army reaches lethal size, the deck closes games through aggressive combat steps enhanced by double strike from Temur Battle Rage or Assault on Osgiliath, evasion from The Black Gate or Rogue's Passage, and direct burn via Fling, Kazuul's Fury, and Essence Harvest. In parallel, secondary payoffs like Thor, God of Thunder, Fiery Inscription, and All Will Be One convert noncreature casts and counter additions directly into life loss across the table. While vulnerable to bounce and mass wipe effects, the deck maintains high synergy and strong burst damage potential.
