Deck overview

This Golgari deck harnesses The Swarmweaver to lead an aggressive token swarm and graveyard Delirium strategy. Early turns focus on accelerating mana and filling the graveyard with diverse card types using efficient self-mill spells like Grisly Salvage, Grapple with the Past, and Broodspinner. Once four card types enter the graveyard, The Swarmweaver transforms every Insect and Spider into a lethal deathtouch threat with flying evasion. The deck scales into the mid-game by reanimating massive payoffs like Hornet Queen, Demolisher Spawn, and Giant Adephage, or compounding token generation via Doubling Season, Aatchik, Emerald Radian, and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. Reanimation spells and recursion engines like Zask, Skittering Swarmlord grant substantial staying power after board wipes, enabling steady combat pressure that closes out the table around Turn 8.
