Deck overview

This Boros deck combines modular artifact creatures, +1/+1 counter distribution, and token generation under Ajani, Nacatl Pariah // Ajani, Nacatl Avenger. The primary game plan deploys low-curve artifact creatures and flips Ajani early by sacrificing Cat tokens or modular units. Once transformed, Ajani fuels steady board expansion and creature-scaling burn. The deck preserves resource momentum through counter-retention engines like The Ozolith and Resourceful Defense, ensuring that creature deaths transfer power rather than wasting investment. Card velocity relies on engines like Skullclamp and Caretaker's Talent converting tokens into cards. To close games, the deck pivots to massive modular combat attacks on evasive threats such as Inkmoth Nexus and Zabaz, the Glimmerwasp, or triggers burn engines like Lux Artillery and All Will Be One. While resilient against spot removal thanks to modular triggers, the deck lacks instant-speed interaction and remains vulnerable to mass exile or bounce effects.
