Deck overview

Helga, Skittish Seer commands a high-synergy Bant stompy deck that converts ramp into massive card advantage and scaling mana. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient land-ramp and mana artifacts, deploying Helga by Turn 3. Once Helga is active, every creature spell with mana value 4 or greater draws a card and places a +1/+1 counter on her. This turns Helga into a scaling mana dork that funds even more high-cost threats. The deck supports this engine with redundant draw permanents like The Great Henge, Guardian Project, and Garruk's Uprising. As the board grows with threats like Koma, World-Eater, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and Surrak and Goreclaw, the deck transitions into decisive combat kills using overrun effects such as Craterhoof Behemoth, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Akroma's Will. Robust defensive options, including Teferi's Protection and Fierce Guardianship, protect the creature swarm from opposing sweepers and removal.
