Deck overview

Teysa, Orzhov Scion is an aristocrats combo deck. The primary plan is to build a critical mass of cheap creatures, token makers, and death-payoff drainers, then assemble the classic loop: Teysa plus Darkest Hour plus any free sacrifice outlet creates infinite death triggers and Spirit tokens, which Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Altar of Dementia, or Blasting Station converts into a win. The commander is both a removal engine and the pivot of most combo lines; her exile ability answers problem creatures when three white Spirits are available. Teysa Karlov in the 99 acts as a hidden commander, doubling death triggers and enabling the secondary Nim Deathmantle/Ashnod's Altar loop. Secondary paths include value beatdown with Sorin and Bolas's Citadel.
