Deck overview

This deck is a Jund lands-matter strategy commanded by Hearthhull, the Worldseed. The game plan revolves around ramping early, stationing creatures into Hearthhull to unlock card draw and direct life loss, and sacrificing lands for high-tempo advantages. Once lands fill the graveyard, mass recursion spells like Splendid Reclamation, Aftermath Analyst, and Worldsoul's Rage return all lands to the battlefield simultaneously. This fuels explosive landfall triggers from cards like Scute Swarm, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Avenger of Zendikar, while draining opponents with Hearthhull and Mayhem Devil. Alternate win conditions include Moraug, Fury of Akoum combat chains and asymmetric land wipes with Planetary Annihilation. While the deck generates massive mana velocity, overwhelming card advantage, and formidable resilience against permanent removal, it lacks instant-speed countermagic and dedicated protection spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed graveyard hate and sweepers.
