pirate booty by april.mikey

Format: Commander

Commander: Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is a Malcolm-Kediss treasure shell whose hidden engine is Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Kediss makes one Malcolm hit damage all three opponents, so Malcolm's Pirate trigger creates three Treasures from a single swing. Those Treasures pay for fast digging and allow Magda to cheat Niv-Mizzet directly into play. Once Niv-Mizzet is online, Curiosity, Combat Research, or Tandem Lookout turn any draw trigger into an infinite damage loop. The fallback plan keeps pressure through Kediss commander damage and Glint-Horn Buccaneer cycling. Cheap counterspells and red removal keep the window open while the deck assembles the often fragile-seeming Niv combo line.
