Deck overview

This deck is an Esper odd-cost midrange strategy led by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its core engine leverages Yennett's attack trigger to cheat massive odd-mana-value spells directly from the top of the library without paying their mana costs. The deck incorporates extensive topdeck manipulation tools, including Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, Ponder, Soothsaying, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter, ensuring that attacks consistently reveal game-altering threats such as Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse. A unique subtheme of minigames and text-manipulation cards—including Exchange of Words, Master of Predicaments, and Psychic Battle—creates disruptive, unconventional interaction. While the deck boasts high top-end impact and strong creature removal, it lacks fast mana and cheap defensive counterspells, requiring careful sequencing to protect Yennett before she attacks.
