Deck overview

This Naya deck is a +1/+1 counters burn strategy built around Shalai and Hallar, turning every counter placed on a creature into direct damage. The primary plan is to land the commander early, develop a critical mass of counter engines and replacement effects, then burn the table out through her trigger - either via an infinite loop with The Red Terror or War Elemental, or through the exponential growth of Ouroboroid and Kalonian Hydra. The commander is the engine, payoff, and half of both infinite lines, so the 99 is built to keep her alive and feed her counters. Combat is a genuine backup plan, with Abzan Falconer providing flying and Drix Fatemaker / Training Regimen granting trample. The deck is linear, mid-speed, and powerful on an uncontested battlefield, but it lacks stack interaction and has almost no way to tutor for its combo pieces.
