Deck overview

This Azorius deck pairs Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to turn a classic Voltron shell into a multiplying legendary army. Yoshimaru hits the board on Turn 1 and grows steadily as historic and legendary cards enter play. Sakashima arrives on Turn 4, copying Yoshimaru while erasing the legend rule for your battlefield. From that point forward, clone spells produce extra copies of Yoshimaru, causing each subsequent legendary drop to trigger multiple +1/+1 counter buffs across the entire pack. Heavy-hitting legendary equipment like Excalibur, Sword of Eden and double-strike enablers like Flaming Fist push damage output into lethal territory by Turn 6. While the deck boasts high redundancy in clone effects and passive ward layers from cards like Gold-Forged Thopteryx, its primary vulnerabilities lie in thin raw card draw and heavy reliance on the combat step across multiple turns.
