Commander: Zurgo, Thunder's Decree

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Zurgo, Thunder's Decree is a Mardu token-aggro commander whose Mobilize ability creates two Warriors every combat and whose end-step clause lets those tokens remain in play. The deck's primary plan is to attack with Zurgo every turn, accumulate a permanent Warrior squad, and pump it with War Flare, Rush of Battle, or Trumpet Blast. Neriv, Heart of the Storm acts as a hidden commander: its damage-doubling effect multiplies the newly created tokens and dash attackers. Secondary paths are dash beatdown via Mardu Scout, Vaultbreaker, and Sprinting Warbrute, plus Mardu Siegebreaker copying an attacker for each opponent. Voice of Victory locks down the attack step, making Zurgo's engine hard to interrupt.
