Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Cleric typal and lifegain aggro strategy commanded by Minwu, White Mage. The game plan establishes an early board of efficient low-cost Clerics and soul-sister lifegain triggers, including Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, Auriok Champion, and Guide of Souls. Once Minwu enters on Turn 5, every lifegain instance distributes +1/+1 counters across all controlled Clerics, transforming small utility creatures into massive threats. Vigilance and lifelink on the commander sustain high life totals, unlocking anthems like Righteous Valkyrie. The deck protects its board using premier defensive spells like Teferi's Protection, Flawless Maneuver, and Flare of Fortitude, while utilizing asymmetric sweepers such as Damning Verdict and Harsh Mercy to clear opposing blockers. Lethal combat damage closes the game across Turns 6 through 8 via trample, flying, and overwhelming power.
