Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck leverages Vivi Ornitier as both a scalable mana generator and a damage engine. Vivi grows with each noncreature spell cast, pinging each opponent for 1 damage and generating explosive bursts of mana via its {0} ability. The deck pairs this engine with curiosity effects like Curiosity and Tandem Lookout, which turn every spell into a draw-three effect because Vivi deals noncombat damage to all three opponents simultaneously. Cheap cantrips, untap effects, and cost-reducers fuel storm chains that culminate in massive burn output, Underworld Breach recursion, or game-ending spells like Crackle with Power. Backed by efficient countermagic and instant-speed hexproof protection spells like Shore Up, the deck protects its commander while threatening rapid same-turn table kills once its engine goes online.
