New Untitled Deck by JaratFitch

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls pilots a Rakdos group-slug deck that converts every point of opponent life loss into commander growth and cards. The core loop is simple: resolve a symmetrical pain effect, then let upkeep/draw triggers feed Valgavoth while opposing life totals erode. Backup engines like Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin and Far Fortune, End Boss act as hidden commanders from the 99. The deck wins through repeated commander damage plus burst drains; a late Gray Merchant or a Syr Konrad-board-wipe turn usually closes the game. It has no true combo, no counterspells, and few permanent answers, so it must outlast opponents rather than interact with the stack.
