Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie Aristocrats and Graveyard Combo engine led by Varina, Lich Queen. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost Zombies and mana rocks during the early turns, casting Varina on Turn 3, and immediately using her attack trigger on Turn 4 to filter cards, stock the graveyard, and gain life. The primary win condition is an infinite aristocrat drain loop assembled on Turn 5 using Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar (or Warren Soultrader), and a drain payoff like Wayward Servant, Corpse Knight, Diregraf Captain, or Plague Belcher. Supported by black tutors such as Demonic Tutor and Final Parting, the deck consistently finds its missing pieces while sculpting its hand. If the primary combo is disrupted, the deck pivots smoothly to a mass reanimation and combat overrun plan powered by Zombie Apocalypse, Rot Hulk, Wonder, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, backed by efficient countermagic and spot removal.
