GOLLUM by user5147333

Format: Commander

Commander: Gollum, Obsessed Stalker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Gollum, Obsessed Stalker is the deck's engine and finisher: the goal is to connect with Gollum against each opponent, then gain life every turn so his end-step trigger drains everyone he has already damaged. The primary plan is a low-to-the-ground black lifegain curve - Prism Ring, Gifted Aetherborn, Vampire Nighthawk - backed by burst drain spells such as Syphon Soul, Blood Tithe, Gray Merchant, and Exsanguinate. Secondary paths are big X-spell drains and Defiling Daemogoth, which mirrors Gollum's end-step drain. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth is a support engine that pays life for black mana and refunds it with lifelink; there is no hidden commander. The deck wins incrementally rather than through a two-card combo.
