Deck overview

Bello, Bard of the Brambles leads a Gruul aggressive midrange deck built around non-Equipment artifacts and non-Aura enchantments with mana value 4 or greater. During your turn, Bello animates these permanents into 4/4 Elemental creatures with haste, indestructible, and combat-damage card draw. The deck leverages dense 2-CMC ramp to deploy Bello on Turn 3 and immediately begin animating heavy utility permanents on Turn 4. High-impact damage amplifiers such as Gratuitous Violence, Unnatural Growth, and Berserkers' Onslaught transform the animated board into a lethal attacking force that draws multiple cards per combat step. Because the animated permanents cease being creatures on opposing turns and possess indestructible on your own turn, the deck is naturally resilient against damage and sorcery-speed creature sweepers.
