Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign to cheat massive odd-cost spells into play ahead of curve. The early game focuses on deploying colored mana rocks and setting up the top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter. On Turn 5, Yennett attacks to immediately cast high-impact threats like Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Breach the Multiverse for free. These cards create asymmetric locks, sweep opposing boards, and generate overwhelming card advantage. The deck backs up this strategy with versatile spot removal such as Swords to Plowshares and Skyclave Apparition. While vulnerable to instant-speed spot removal during Yennett's setup turn, the deck delivers crushing late-game pressure and closes the game across two combat steps with evasive, high-power creatures.
