Deck overview

This mono-white deck is a lifegain-focused combo-midrange build led by Heliod, Sun-Crowned. The deck leverages Heliod's indestructible body and counter-distribution ability alongside a dense suite of lifegain payoffs, +1/+1 counter synergies, and Ajani planeswalkers. Its primary win condition is the deterministic two-card infinite damage combo between Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista (or Triskelion). Once Ballista enters with two or more counters and is granted lifelink by Heliod for two mana, removing a counter to ping an opponent triggers Heliod's lifegain ability, replacing the counter and enabling infinite pings to eliminate the entire table in a single turn. The deck supports this plan with tutors like Starfield Shepherd and Delivery Moogle, defensive locks like Pariah on Heliod, and backup win conditions like Felidar Sovereign, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Archangel of Thune. While weak to stack interaction and instant removal on Ballista, it presents a lethal clock once six mana is reached.
