Deck overview

This Mono-Red spellslinger deck is commanded by Loki, God of Lies, who turns cheap single-target spells into temporary creature theft effects that untap stolen threats and grant them haste. The strategy revolves around casting efficient combat cantrips and pump spells like Blazing Crescendo, Bulk Up, and Fists of Flame on opponents' best creatures to seize them and attack immediately. Mana acceleration from rocks and rituals like Mana Geyser enables high-tempo multi-spell turns. As the game develops, the deck scales its pressure using mass-theft sorceries like Mob Rule, spell duplication from Zada, Hedron Grinder and Spinerock Tyrant, or an infinite token combo with Dualcaster Mage and Electroduplicate. While the deck generates high combat burst damage, it relies heavily on opponents fielding viable creature targets and must navigate moderate exposure to spot removal and board sweepers.
