witherbloom posion by user5283889

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A Golgari poison-control deck built to cast Witherbloom, the Balancer early by accelerating with mana dorks, then using its affinity for creatures to make every instant and sorcery nearly free. The primary win is accruing poison counters on all opponents through direct poison spells and proliferate, accelerated by Venerated Rotpriest and Fynn, the Fangbearer. A backup plan creates huge token armies and finishes with Triumph of the Hordes. The commander acts as an enabler and an evasive deathtouch beater; no hidden commander exists. The deck is consistent but vulnerable to wipe-heavy boards.
