The King Has Returned by KONIEV

Format: Commander

Commander: Kenrith, the Returned King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kenrith, the Returned King serves as a five-color activated-ability engine for this 'betrayal' deck: it steals, clones, bounces, and reanimates opponents' permanents, then uses Kenrith to draw, pump, and grant haste for a final swing. There is no hidden commander; Aclazotz, Narfi, Merieke, and the Betrayal-titled cards are supporting pieces. The primary plan is value theft and board dominance via expensive control-magic spells; the secondary plan is a big-mana Nyxbloom Ancient plus kicked Rite of Replication. Kenrith is both the draw engine and the mana outlet that turns excess colored mana into cards, life, counters, and recursion. The deck is vulnerable to fast stack-based strategies because it packs no counterspells.
