Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around generating cheap creature tokens in the early turns using cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller, then accelerating into Jace on Turn 4. Upon entering the battlefield, Jace uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token and flip directly into an overwhelming bomb from the 99, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Darksteel Angel. Supported by robust 2-CMC artifact ramp and backup polymorph effects like Proteus Staff and Synthetic Destiny, the deck repeatedly converts expendable tokens into high-impact threats. While the deck boasts high board pressure and explosive turns, its win condition remains combat-bound, giving opponents multi-turn windows to respond with sweepers and spot removal.
