Smaug - Treasure Hoarder by Nevian

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm commands a Rakdos Treasure and Dragon engine that turns artifact production into heavy card draw and burn. Early turns establish mana acceleration and early Treasure generators to cast Smaug, immediately scaling your artifact count against opposing boards. Spending Treasure mana triggers Smaug to refill your hand, drawing into pingers like Reckless Fireweaver, Mirkwood Bats, and Nadier's Nightblade. You win by converting massive Treasure generation into lethal passive burn, overwhelming combat steps with evasive Dragons, or taking infinite extra combats using Aggravated Assault paired with Ancient Copper Dragon or The Reaver Cleaver.
