Thorin by BoudTheDude

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Boros deck is a Dwarf/artifacts 'Storied' midrange build. It floods the board with legendary Dwarves, Equipment, and cheap artifacts until Thorin Oakenshield's Storied condition gives every artifact and creature ward. Balin, Loremaster is the hidden commander and the primary finisher: with an active Storied story, casting An Unexpected Party // At the Door for X=6-7 makes each Dwarf token enter, discard a full hand, redraw it, and deal lethal damage to each opponent. Secondary plans are Equipment voltron with Dain Ironfoot double-strike, Cait Sith pumps, and Thunderdrum pinging. Thorin himself is not an engine; he is a cheap protection piece and an enabler for the artifact/legendary count.
