Zimone by jtchristie

Format: Commander

Commander: Zimone, Infinite Analyst

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic X-spell and +1/+1 counter deck built around Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The plan is to land Zimone early, then chain X-cost spells - Hydroid Krasis, Goldvein Hydra, Primordial Hydra, Finale of Devastation - to grow her counter count, which discounts the first X-spell each turn. A dense package of counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, Kami of Whispered Hopes) turns each X into an exponentially larger board. The deck ramps heavily with land ramp and mana doublers like Mana Reflection and Unbound Flourishing. It wins through a massive Finale of Devastation (X=10) that grants haste and +X/+X, a huge hydra swing, Simic Ascendancy at 20 counters, or the Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage combo. Zimone is a force multiplier rather than a hard requirement - the 99 is packed with raw power.
