Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Voltron strategy centered on Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. Alexios changes controllers on each player's upkeep, gains a +1/+1 counter, and must attack each combat. Because combat damage from Alexios counts as commander damage regardless of who controls him, he rapidly eliminates all three opponents in two table rotations. The deck uses low-cost mana rocks and rituals to cast Alexios on Turn 2 or 3, then attaches equipment to grant hexproof, shroud, ward, or double strike. Because equipment remains under your control even when Alexios changes hands, benefits like card draw from Mask of Memory and Treasure generation from Beamtown Beatstick trigger for you. Defensive redirection spells and targeted removal protect your commander from opposing interaction while stax pieces like Silent Arbiter prevent opponents from blocking effectively.
