Deck overview

This deck is a Jund aggressive midrange engine commanded by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash. It leverages cheap haste creatures and global haste enablers like Anger and Rhythm of the Wild to attack immediately upon deployment, triggering Ognis to generate tapped Treasure tokens for every attacking creature. The deck converts this rapid Treasure acceleration into decisive combat finishers such as Craterclaw Colossus and devastating burn engines including Mirkwood Bats, Ingenious Artillerist, and Terror of the Peaks. Supported by a low-curve mana dork foundation and versatile removal spells like Assassin's Trophy and Deadly Rollick, the list consistently establishes an operational engine by turn 4, presents lethal pressure on turn 5, and eliminates the table by turn 6. While vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and artifact nullification, its redundant threats and independent token generators provide resilience across competitive mid-power tables.
