Thrustduil the Elven Cuck by user2778349

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sultai self-mill Elves built around Thranduil, the Elvenking as a graveyard-ability toolbox. The primary plan is to ramp, cast Thranduil, then use Buried Alive, Jarad's Orders, or Dina's Guidance to put Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate into the graveyard, letting Thranduil copy their activated abilities for infinite green mana and +1/+1 counters. The usual finish is Overwhelming Stampede with a wide Elf board or Lathril's ten-Elf drain. The secondary path is conventional Elfball: lords, token producers, and combat tricks. There is no hidden commander; the deck is centered on Thranduil, though Lathril and token-producing legends are strong supporting pieces.
