New Untitled Deck by bigguy

Commander: Grist, the Hunger Tide

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Insect-token/self-mill build helmed by Grist, the Hunger Tide, a command-zone Insect planeswalker whose +1 creates Insect tokens and mills until it hits an Insect, potentially repeating for extra tokens and loyalty. Her -2 is repeatable creature/planeswalker removal, and her -5 ultimate drains each opponent for the number of creature cards in the graveyard. The deck floods the board with Insects through Zask, Skittering Swarmlord, Aatchik, Emerald Radian, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, and landfall producers like Scute Swarm and Springheart Nantuko, then closes via Aatchik death-drains, Grist's ultimate, an alpha strike of trampling Insects, or a compact infinite-damage loop involving Basking Broodscale, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, and Blasting Station. It is a midrange value deck that can pivot from grinding into a same-turn combo kill whenever the pieces naturally converge.
