Group Slug by SpaceBaker

Format: Commander

Commander: Winter, Misanthropic Guide

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Winter, Misanthropic Guide pilots a symmetrical draw-and-punish strategy. The deck forces extra cards into every hand while pain triggers drain life from opponents. Delirium acts as a secondary engine, enabling tutoring and cost reduction while shrinking opponent hand sizes. The deck aims to establish a draw engine like Winter or Font of Mythos, then stack multiple draw-punishers to convert each card into damage. Discard synergies and group-hug draw effects create a card-advantage loop that closes games through Psychosis Crawler or Syr Konrad. Without relying heavily on the commander, the deck can pivot to discard, graveyard, and battle synergies to maintain pressure.
