Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros aggro-burn engine commanded by Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. The strategy focuses on curving out with low-cost non-Gnome creatures and mana rocks to deploy Anim Pakal on Turn 3 and initiate token production on Turn 4. The deck rapidly scales its Gnome output through +1/+1 counters, token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession, and +1/+1 synergy from Rosie Cotton of South Lane. Rather than relying solely on combat connections, the list converts token generation directly into lethal table-wide burn using Purphoros, God of the Forge, Agate Instigator, Impact Tremors, and Reckless Fireweaver. A compact infinite combo featuring Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault provides an alternate win condition. The deck safeguards its explosive turns using Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Protection, and Voice of Victory.
