Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats and reanimator strategy piloted by Carnage, Crimson Chaos. The core game plan focuses on recurring low-mana creatures with powerful enter-the-battlefield abilities—most notably edict creatures like Accursed Marauder and Plaguecrafter—to keep opposing boards clear while triggering aristocrat drain engines. Carnage provides immediate reanimation from the command zone, allowing the deck to continuously loop fodder using a suite of 1-mana 'scam' instants like Feign Death and Undying Malice. As the graveyard fills, heavy-hitting finishers including Kokusho, the Evening Star, Vein Ripper, and Flayer of the Hatebound convert creature turnover into rapid, non-combat table-wide life loss. The deck is resilient against conventional destruction removal because death triggers advance its game plan, but it must carefully manage its reliance on the graveyard against targeted exile and rest-in-peace effects.
