Deck overview

This deck utilizes Seluma, Light of Aysen to construct a 5-color Angel tribal midrange deck. Seluma bypasses typical commander color identity restrictions, allowing powerful multicolored Angels like Aurelia, the Warleader, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Maelstrom Archangel, and Drana and Linvala to be run in a mono-white identity shell with any basic lands. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the early turns, discarding or cycling expensive Angels into the graveyard, and casting Seluma to cheat them onto the battlefield via combat damage triggers. Once Seluma connects, the deck rapidly establishes an overwhelming airborne presence fortified by hexproof granting Angels like Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Sigarda, Font of Blessings. Lethality is achieved through high-power aerial beats amplified by damage doublers and additional combat phases.
