Deck overview

This is a combat-focused Goro-Goro and Satoru deck. It uses cheap evasive creatures such as Slither Blade, Changeling Outcast, and Tin Street Dodger to enable Ninja attacks. Ninjutsu creatures then generate card flow, Treasures, or life loss, while Goro-Goro and Satoru turns combat damage from creatures that entered that turn into 5/5 flying Dragons. Dragon Tempest, Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury, and Shivan Devastator provide additional Dragon payoffs. The deck has a respectable interaction package, including several free counterspells, but its tutors are sparse and its finish depends on repeated combat connections. A normal draw can establish the engine around turn 5 and create a meaningful threat around turn 6, but it does not reliably produce a same-turn or short-window table kill. The deck is strongest when opponents allow repeated attacks and weakest when they remove the commander or block the initial evasive creatures.
