Deck overview

Helmed by Nikya of the Old Ways, this Gruul deck is a raw, creature-only beatdown engine. Nikya doubles mana from lands while forbidding noncreature spells, so every spell in the 99 is a creature. The plan is straightforward: accelerate heavily with mana dorks and land-fetch creatures, then cast or cheat out enormous threats like Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Etali, Primal Storm, and Apex Devastator. Extra-combat effects from Hellkite Charger and Anzrag, the Quake-Mole turn one overwhelming attack into a same-turn kill. The deck leans on combat inevitability, trample enablers, and a handful of fight-based removal creatures to clear blockers. There are no infinite combos, no counterspells, and no instant-speed interaction; every answer arrives on a creature's ETB or attack trigger.
