JLK's Glarb | Game Knights Live: Gen Con 2024 by aragorn-mysz

Format: Commander

Commander: Glarb, Calamity's Augur

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Glarb, Calamity's Augur is a landfall-value engine more than a combo piece: his top-deck access plus tap-surveil smooth land drops and let the deck cast high-mana-value spells directly from the top. The primary plan is ramp into Glarb, then use surveil and self-mill to feed both top-deck casting and graveyard land recursion. Secondary lines lean on creature-cast draw, landfall payoffs, and reanimation. There is no true hidden commander; Case of the Locked Hothouse acts as a functional second Glarb. The deck closes with huge combat after Finale of Devastation or Overwhelming Stampede, with Twenty-Toed Toad as an alternate win condition.
